CHINA – A delusion of becoming Superpower
India vs China India and China relation had been steadily improving since Prime minister Rajiv Gandhi’s visit to China in 1988 , the first by an Indian Prime minister after Nehru’s visit in 1954. In 1993 during PM Narasimha Rao’s visit the two countries signed an agreement to maintain peace and tranquility along the Line of Actual control. Three years later during Chinese President visit to India confidence building measure along the border areas was signed. This upward trajectory in bilateral relations continued even after Prime Minister Narendra Modi came in power. But after the dokhlam standoff and the ongoing Chinese aggression on Ladakh and Galwan valley India-China relations has gone to a new low. But it’s interesting fact to know whoever has trusted china blindly has been back stabbed by the China Communist Party whether we talk of Indo-china war in 1962 to on going US-China trade war.
